Nature's way of doing things, with Claude Grison

When science is inspired by what nature does... it's called biomimicry.
Plants, in particular, provide invaluable services in preserving the environment and biodiversity. For example, some have succeeded in adapting and developing survival strategies in polluted environments. Claude Grison, a chemistry researcher at the CNRS, has based her work on this observation. In her Bioinspir laboratory, she is developing these "super-plants", which clean up soils and transform them into catalysts for use in the chemical industry.
