Nature does things well, with Claude Grison

When science takes inspiration from nature... we call it biomimicry.

Plants, in particular, provide valuable services for the preservation of the environment and biodiversity. For example, some have managed to adapt and develop survival strategies in polluted environments. It is on this observation that Claude Grison, a chemistry researcher at the CNRS, has based her work. In her Bioinspir laboratory, she is promoting these "super-plants" that clean up polluted soil and transform it into a catalyst that can be used in the chemical industry.
