Claude Grison: Pollution-Cleaning Plants

The CNRS researcher is the winner of the “Inventor” award at the Opinion Impact Awards. Chance, pragmatism, and—above all—curiosity often lead to good results. That’s what comes to mind when listening to CNRS scientist Claude Grison describe the journey that led her to develop innovative techniques for remediating soil and water contaminated with industrial metals using plants. These techniques then make it possible to reuse those metals as natural catalysts in the chemical industry.
