Claude Grison, the genius of green chemistry

She had a stroke of genius that earned her the 2022 European Inventor of the Year Award. Claude Grison, a bio-inspired chemist, has developed methods for decontaminating soil and water using plants. Better yet, the metals recovered in this way serve as “eco-friendly” catalysts for the synthesis of medicines and cosmetics.
