Claude Grison’s invention makes it possible to remediate contaminated mining sites using metal-absorbing plants. Two French women—chemist Claude Grison and immunologist Elodie Belnoue—along with Swiss engineer Madiha Derouazi received the 2022 Best Inventor Award from the European Patent Office (EPO) on Tuesday, June 21.
