Not polluting any further is good… But cleaning up our planet is even better! Researchers have developed technologies that enable the creation of synthetic products which not only prevent new pollution but also… eliminate existing pollution! And thanks to phytoremediation—that is, using plants—researchers are able to “naturally” clean up contaminated water and soil, producing reusable compost in the process with a very low environmental impact.
