Bioinspir Develops a Plant-Based Filter to Treat Contaminated Water

Spun out of the ChimEco laboratory at the University of Montpellier, the startup Bioinspir has developed a plant-based filter to capture metals from polluted water. Made from invasive aquatic plants, the filter can then be reused for other applications. Discussions are underway with chemical industry representatives.
