What solutions are there to climate change?

Cover of the book What solutions are there to climate change?

Proposing solutions to tackle climate change has become a major challenge for the future of our societies: reducing greenhouse gases, largely emitted by human activities, and reducing the vulnerability of our societies and ecosystems through anticipation, adaptation, and resilience is vital. Given the complexity of the system in which we live, our development model based on fossil fuels and exploiting increasingly limited resources, it is time to identify the solutions available to us and question their viability and effectiveness. At the 2015 Paris Climate Conference, or COP21, it is essential to "think about solutions" to tackle climate change. This collective work brings together some 50 renowned scientists and specialists to answer today's questions and think about tomorrow's solutions. It offers a comprehensive overview of the issues related to climate change, as well as an original critical perspective necessary for the development of innovative and ingenious solutions that serve society.
