Ecocatalysis: A New Integrated Approach to Scientific Ecology

Restoration of biodiversity; remediation of degraded and anthropogenic areas; prevention of environmental health risks; eco-innovation; Green industry … France’s current ambitions are closely linked to an interdisciplinary approach to scientific ecology, all of which contribute to the anticipated industrial renewal. Ecocatalysis explores the unique combination of pollution-adapted phytotechnologies, ecological rehabilitation of polluted sites, and the enhancement of these processes through innovative green chemistry, all of which contribute to the development of scientific priorities; economic and ecological innovation; and current environmental challenges, including biomass conversion and the transition from fossil fuels to renewables.
